Consultation on Skilled Migration Occupation Lists

The Department of Jobs and Small Business is responsible for undertaking a regular review of the new Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) and Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). These occupation lists are used for skilled migration to meet short and medium/long term needs for the Australian economy.

In November 2017 the Department published a Traffic Light Bulletin which shows the proposed changes and invited stakeholders to provide feedback to the Department.

The submission period to provide feedback on the Traffic Light Bulletin has now closed and the submissions received through this process are now available online.
