Request for Proposal for the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) Trial 2018–2020

Applications for the Request for Proposal for the Career Transition Assistance Trial 2018–2020 are now open.

The Department of Jobs and Small Business (the Department) is seeking responses to this Request for Proposal from Respondents who are interested in delivering the Career Transition Assistance (CTA) program trial from 2 July 2018 to 26 June 2020.

Request for Tender for ParentsNext 2018–2021

Applications for the Request for Tender for ParentsNext 2018–2021 are now closed.

ParentsNext is a pre-employment program that aims to help parents with young children to plan and prepare for employment once their youngest child reaches school age. It has been operating in ten locations across Australia since April 2016. It has engaged thousands of parents and had a positive impact on their lives and those of their young children.

Request for Tender for the Time to Work Employment Service 2018–2021

Applications for the Request for Tender for the Time to Work Employment Service 2018–2021 are now closed.

The Time to Work Employment Service is a new employment service targeted at sentenced adult Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander prisoners. The program will offer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with assistance to transition from prison to employment by preparing them for employment post-release.

ParentsNext National Expansion – Discussion Paper

ParentsNext is a pre-employment program which connects parents of young children to services in their local community to help them plan and prepare for employment by the time their youngest child reaches school age. The program aims to reduce welfare dependency and child poverty, and to increase female employment participation.

Prison to Work — Employment Service Offer — Consultation Paper

The Prison to Work – Employment Service Offer, subsequently renamed to the Time to Work Employment Service, is a new program announced in the 2017-18 Federal Budget, as part of the Closing the Gap – Employment Services package to support progress on achieving parity in employment outcomes between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
