Empowering YOUth Initiatives Round 2 Qualitative Fieldwork

The second round of the Empowering YOUth Initatives Qualitative Fieldwork will take place between April 2018 and June 2018.  The project gathers the views and experiences of participants who have been part of the Empowering YOUth Initiatives. There are multiple initiatives in scope for this fieldwork which is being conducted on behalf of the department by four different consultants. These consultants are: Hugh Watson Consulting, Market Access, Miles Morgan Australia and the Social Research Centre. The Department of Jobs and Small Business has engaged Hugh Watson Consulting, Market Access, Miles Morgan Australia and the Social Research Centre to undertake this research with people who have been part of the Empowering YOUth Initaitives.

Between April 2018 and June 2018 the consultants will invite a selection of eligible participants to share their views and experiences of these initiatives.

If any of these consultants contact you, we encourage you to participate in this research. The information you provide will help the Department to learn more about the benefits and challenges of delivering effective youth employment programs for job seekers and young people transitioning from school into training or the work.

Information you provide will only be used for research and evaluation purposes. Individuals who participate in this research will not be identified in reporting. The Department, Hugh Watson Consulting, Market Access, Miles Morgan Australia and the Social Research Centre are bound by the Privacy Act 1988.

Participating in this research will not affect any government assistance you may receive.
