Evaluation of the Transition to Work Service

The Department of Jobs and Small Business is conducting an evaluation of the Transition to Work Service. The purpose of the evaluation is to examine how effective, efficient and appropriate the service was in supporting young people aged 15-21 to improve their work-readiness and help them into work or education.

The Social Research Centre (SRC) has been appointed by the Department to carry out research on its behalf. From late February to March 2018, SRC will be conducting qualitative research activities which include focus group discussions with Transition to Work participants, and interviews with Transition to Work providers, employers and other stakeholders.

The information you provide will help the Department to learn more about people’s experiences with Transition to Work and ways we can improve future programs.
