On 19 December 2016, the Commonwealth Government announced that the pilot Fair Entitlements Guarantee Recovery (FEG) Program has been made ongoing with expanded funding from 1 January 2017.
Under the ongoing program, liquidators of companies and trustees in bankruptcy (where FEG advances have been made) can continue to apply for funding for the purposes of pursuing recovery proceedings including litigation, and other activities, to increase assets available to creditors in the winding up or bankruptcy process.
Submission of applications for funding assistance may be made via the FEG IP Portal. Alternatively, an Application Form for Funding Assistance may also be submitted to the Recovery and Litigation Branch at FEGRecoveryapplications@jobs.gov.au.
